Try a model career

There are several ways to become a model:

1. To create a web page with your best photos of you (digital portfolio) and then contact a modeling agency; you must submit a letter of intention, and specify the way you may be contacted, your web address and e-mail;

2. To contact directly a modeling agency and to present your hard copy portfolio to an agent;

3. To participate to a beauty contest; usually if you win a place, you are contacted by modeling agencies;

4. To apply to a modeling university, college or school; choose a good university, apply to it and in your letter of intention don't forget to mention a description of you (measurements, eyes and hair color) and the link to your web page.

There is also the possibility to be spotted on the street or public places by a model scout. This is not the usual way to become a model because is a matter of chance.

The most usual and recommended way is the first one because you can apply to as many agencies as you want; more than that, you remain in their database and whenever there is a demand of models you could be contacted.
The success key factor is a good portfolio.
